Creative leader who builds brands, LEADS TEAMS, and makes ideas real
I've led creative teams across brand, digital, content, and video, with work spanning product development, environmental design, and retail. Over 20+ years, that's ranged from app launches and national campaigns to licensed products, NIL initiatives, and brand partnerships that turned ambitious ideas into results people actually noticed.

MITCHELL BAT COMPANY
Heritage-inspired, hand-painted baseball bats. MLBPA, college, and NIL licensed.
I launched Mitchell Bat Company in Nashville, TN on October 30, 2013, literally with no bats in hand and no idea how to pull it off. After a career in advertising and serial entrepreneurship, I needed a creative outlet that lived outside a screen. Since then, I've collaborated with brands including Nike, Jack Daniel's, Jim Beam, In-N-Out Burger, ESPN, Sports Illustrated, and the Boston Red Sox, building licensing and partnership relationships from the ground up.
SHE READS TRUTH
Creative Director for a platform built to help people read and understand God's Word through daily Bible reading plans. I directed a team of five in-house designers and a remote development team, while collaborating closely with fellow directors and executive leadership on creative strategy.
My work spanned every touchpoint: creative direction on all print projects, weekly photo and video shoots, and producing the weekly She Reads Truth podcast, which has surpassed 4 million downloads. I also owned all digital properties across desktop, iOS, and Android, and managed a network of freelancers to support the broader creative workload.
SUMMIT EVENT - SAN DIEGO, CA
As Associate Creative Director for EntreLeadership, Dave Ramsey's $22 million business unit, I led a team of four in-house designers and worked closely with our VP and cross-functional teams to brand and execute the organization's flagship event: Summit, a 4-day gathering held in a new city each year featuring speakers like George W. Bush, Peyton Manning, Daymond John, John Rich, and Condoleezza Rice.
Over a 12-month creative cycle, I directed brand identity and creative output across every touchpoint, from photo and video shoots and hotel takeovers with budgets up to $100,000, to the EntreLeadership website and app, podcast set design, and all event collateral. For the 2019 Summit in San Diego, themed "A Rising Tide Lifts All Ships," I led the creative direction that brought that vision to life across the entire event.
The Turf: PODCAST / YOUTUBE CHannel
I lead creative direction for The Turf, from its visual identity to how each episode is shot and edited, working alongside a camera operator and content director along the way. I also step into shooting, lighting, audio, and post myself when needed. Hosted by D1 Training founder/CEO Will Bartholomew, the show brings listeners onto the turf of D1 facilities for conversations with athletes, coaches, celebrities, and influencers about training and coaching.
ABOUT ME
When I was six years old, I sold painted rocks to my mailman. When I was twelve, I got in trouble at school for selling candy to my classmates.
For over 20 years, I've worked as a creative across both in-house teams and client-facing agencies. For the last decade, I've led creative teams spanning web, print, marketing, photography, video, podcasting, copywriting, environmental design, product design, and iOS applications.
Today, I run Mitchell Bat Company, a direct-to-consumer baseball bat business based in Nashville, Tennessee, and work with other companies to help grow their brands and achieve their business goals.
